Hi,
As far as I know, this is an Office 2013/2010 known issue. It might be caused by some factors.
One:
File associations in the registry were pointing to the Office Compatibility Pack, but Office 2003/2007 is not installed.
Please try to uninstall Office Compatibility Pack, and then repair Office 2013.
Two:
The REG key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers\C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\root\office15\EXCEL.EXE is setting Excel to run as admin, causing the issue.
Please try to remove the ~RUNASADMIN data field from the following key: Path: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers\C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\root\office15\EXCEL.EXE thus forcing Excel not to run in elevated mode anymore.
Hope it's helpful.
Regards,
Thanks
